+ RDND: NATURAL DISASTERS SERIES - FIRE the Peshtigo (WI) Fire was the largests fire disaster in our country. Did Our Lady warn us 12 years earlier to the day? FIRE + AIR + EARTH + WATER + AN ALMOST FORGOTTEN FIRE WAS IT REALLY MRS O'LEARY'S COW? We all remember reading about Mrs. O'Leary's cow and the great fire of Chicago in 1871 but there was another fire about 220 miles to the north that took thousands of lives on the same day, at the same hour, on October 8 1871. + CONTROLLED CAMPFIRE PESHTIGO WISCONSIN in 2011

From the late 1800s rosary inspire by her warning visit 12 years before the Peshtigo fire - to the day.
+ AVE BEADS: These old smoky, matte 'Givre' beads, crystal with white inclusions date back to the late 1800s - early 1900s and are chosen because of the same time period PATER BEADS:The antiqued filigree capped Pater beads remind us of the golden sash she wore as Our Lady of Good Help. The orange cast becomes a precursor of the fires to come. (Faceted Swarovski Crystal - Austria). Aves also
symbolize the garment of Mary caught in the translucency of the heavenlies
when she visited a young sister in Wisconsin - Setting this to be the first
approved apparition in the U.S as of Dec 8, 2010.

This is an amazingly beautiful rosary, appears to be much older! Antique Ave beads (late 1800s, time of fire) rosary inspired by the fence of protection, where the fire line mysteriously stopped protecting all inside the fence
AVE BEADS: These
rare, old antique faceted beads have been dated by our vender as being
from the late 19c, about the time of the apparition. They are from
our private collection, just waiting for that perfect rosary and we believe
this is the perfect place. Note under some light, there is a faint, green
cast to the creamy white beads. Green symbolizes growth which is a beautiful
reminder of how the line of fire stopped at the fence. PATER BEADS:
Antiqued filigree caps give a richness to the golden faceted Swarovski
Crystal. Again, the choice of color symbolizes Our Lady's golden sash on
a white garment with a hint of the glowing fiery, orange sky that was to
come 12 years later.

this rosary reminds us of the little wooden tabernacle that was not touched by fire and nothing inside was damaged. May still be seen at the Museum in Peshtigo WI

Mary identified herself as, "I am the Lady of the Rosary", and continued, " I have come to warn the faithful to amend their lives and to ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend our Lord any more, for he is already to grievously offended by the sins of men. People must say the rosary. + CONVERSION OF SINNERS HOW IS FR MARQUETTE INVOLVED IN 1673? On finding the Mis-sipi, June 17 1673, Father Marquette dedicated it to Our Lady and named it the 'River of the Immaculate Conception'. Later in the fall, he traveled north along the coast of the Door Peninsula (named for 'Porte des Mortes' (Deaths Door) and portaged over at Sturgeon (Bay) a shorter route to Lake Michigan. Like a precursor, Father Marquette, who loved our Lady Immaculate, dedicated the area at the lower end of the Door Peninsula now called Champion WI. (Robinsonville) at the base of Green Bay, where 186 years later our Lady would appear to Sister Adele Brise in 1859. The apparition would become the first approved apparition of the US by the Vatican (Dec. 8, 2010, the feast day of Our Lady) + ISAIAH 56:1-2
NEW STATE OF WISCONSIN 1848 Mary silently appeared to a very frightened Sister Brise on October 8, 1859 - exactly 12 years to the day before the tragic Peshtigo (WI) Fire - October 8 1871 - which also burned down the village of Champion Wisconsin, then called Robinsonville. (And of course the same day as the Great Chicago Fire). + Mary wore a white garment with a golden yellow band around her waist. She introduced herself as "Our Lady of Good Help, Queen of Heaven" She warned we must pray for the conversion of sinners. 'If they do not convert and do penance, My son will be obliged to punish them' (This would be similar to the message given at Lourdes). + THE FIRST APPROVED MARIAN APPARITION IN THE US Bishop Ricken of the Diocese of Green Bay WI Issues a Formal Decree finding them 'worthy of belief'. Marian Apparitions at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help become the first and only in the U.S. to be approved by the Church! + The First Approved Marian Apparition of the U.S. was confirmed this past Dec 8, 2010 by Bishop David Ricken backed by the Vatican. Our Lady of Good Help shrine is in Champion Wisconsin in the diocese of Green Bay, right down the road from where we make rosaries. And recently there has been an overwhelming occurrence of forest fires in Texas, California and throughout our nation.
