Prayer is our call to healing our loved ones and our selves. Opioids dumb us down. They kill. They kill loved ones. Venerable Matt Talbot -(who is on his way to sainthood)- encouraged us to understand many addictions are a disease. he was an alcoholic who found God. he said:

What are opioids? Are they in our every day life? You might be surprized. (I was) How do we get them? Through Dealers? Are they pills? Liquids? Prescriptions? OTC Meds? Why do we take them? Who takes them? Our kids? Parents? WHO? Do I? Look it up Then come back for prayer

WE ARE FILLED WITH SELF DOUBT
As the world is out of control woth money problems, self doubt, unworthiness, allBut some are small addictions - some stronger than others. The question has to be,'Is the addiction standing between them (or me) and the Lord? Am I serving the Lord or am I serving the addition? 'Am I an enabler or am I a pray-er?

This page is dedicated to those who suffer life changing addictions or have loved ones who suffer from life changing addictions. Every one is a victim. We offer scripture, prayer and support with hopes the living word of God will be the source of encouragement, self forgiveness and, healing.

INTERCESSORY PRAYER FROM ABOVE
Here we have used the medal of Christ carrying the 'cross of addiction' as a powerful sign of redemptive suffering. The fullness of the body of Christ is a treasure to behold. The fullness of the body of Christ is more powerful than our sins. The power of intercessory prayer that comes from us, the living on Earth (Militant), loved ones in Purgatory (Penetent) and those in Heaven (Triumphant) cannot be denied. Redemptive suffering is a most powerful gift.

ANTIQUE 'HAND PRESSED' AVE BEADS
These antique beads, collected since the 70s are from our private collection and when gone, unable to replace. Hand pressed beads are made one at a time from glass rods or cane that has been softened through reheating, then put in a mold to be perfectly formed. This requires a master in glass making. Intercessor against temptations of worldly addictionsSt.Michael means, "Who is Like God". He is the Archangel spoken of in Daniel 12:1: "1 At that time there shall arise Michael, the great prince, guardian of your people; It shall be a time unsurpassed in distress since nations began until that time. At that time your people shall escape, everyone who is found written in the book."

WHO IS LIKE GOD?
St. Michael means, "Who is Like God". Are we in those times? Are we seeking - being lured by - worldly answers over worldly problems more than ever before? The evil one is threatened by what we can do for others and for the Lord. He wants to seek and destroy who we are and who we have been called to be. He wants to divert us through addictions.

This alone gives St Michael and his angels the power to protect each of us from the evil one. From guardian angel through the 9 choirs of angels under the Prince of Angels, Michael we are protected through intercessory prayer.

*ST MAXIMILLIAN MARY KOLBE*

WHO IS MAXIMILLIAN KOLBE?
b. 8 January 1894 - d. August 14 1941 (martyred)- feast day August 14
Intercessor of Drug Addiction / Substance (food) Abuse. he volunteered to die in place of a stranger in the German death camp of Auschwitz,(in German-occupied Poland during World War II). The guards wanted the bunker emptied, so gave Kolbe a lethal injection of carbolic acid.

THE KNIGHT of the IMMACULATA
Before his ordination as a priest, Maximilian founded the Immaculata Movement devoted to Our Lady. After receiving a doctorate in theology, he spread the Movement through a magazine entitled "The Knight of the Immaculata" During WWII, he died atAuschwitz prison whre he was given a lethal injection of phenol after being without food for 2 weeks. He helped form a community of 800 men, the largest in the world. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1982.

St. Maximilian Kolbe, your life of love and labor for souls was sacrificed amid the horrors of a concentration camp and hastened to its end by an injection of a deadly drug.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS
Born into poverty and alcoholism in the inner city of Dublin, Ireland, he began drinking at 12. By the age of 28 he decided to become sober. (His father was a shipyard worker and during this period of Irish history, no Catholics were allowed work in shipyards or other places. If found out, they would be killed). He began by going to confession and receiving Eucharist. He was given a 12 step rehab program by a priest friend. (now used by Alcoholics Anonymous. He lived his life as the early Irish monks (6th - 7th c) did. which consisted of prayer, fasting and almsgiving.

Little is known about St Joseph, the chosen father of Jesus. The last known scripture tells of the holy family presenting 12 year old Jesus at the temple. Joseph is the patron of the church, of husbands, fathers and family life. Some healing may require generational healing.
