ORIGINALLY FOR PRE BORN -THEN GREW Originally these medals of a child of God curled up in His hand were purchased to make chaplets for the Reborn. Then, while in Germany, our 12 year old grand daughter Natalie Marie (translates Mary of the Nativity) was injured (in the very place these medals were made! Maria Laach Abby). It brought to mind that as parents and grand parents, we are to pray for all our family members daily. + PLEASE PRAY FOR THE PRE-BORN Please use this chaplet to pray for the pre-born. Prayer is the most powerful weapon we have against abortion, the killing of the preborn at any stage of life. Also for those who did not make it full term. Be sure and name them and call them by name in your heart as you pray for them. + JEREMIAH 1:5 ...

These wonderful (10mm) beads make a 10 bead chaplet in three colors. I made on for Natalie so she could say her special prayers in thanksgiving to God for holding her in his hands.
+ 'TRINITY BEADS' The 'tri cut' or 'three windiw' beads are from antique glass cane and formed in old glass bead molds. They are crystal with inclusions of either rose, light blue or cream and have a matted surface texture. The light searches out its inner beauty differently each time it moves! When we found these beads, we bought all we could as they reminded us of the trinit;, Father, Son, Holy Spirit. + ALL MEDALS AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY See full collection in SUPPLIES link at top of page |

When we were at the Monastery of Maria Laach, (Germany), granddaughter Natalie Marie (12) took a spill and literally scraped the flesh off of her shin, exposing the bone. Because of the nature of the wound, Brother Anthony (in blue below), Nurse at the Monastery, confirmed Natalie would need to go to the Krankenhaus! She knew what this meant - she was so brave! (We tried to be!) |

The Krankenhaus is the hospital! As they were getting the preliminary work done on her, her brother James and I ran into the gift shop on the grounds of Maria Laach Abbey to pick up this wonderful medal we had seen earlier (The same one I had purchased for the Rosary Workshop before our trip, see pocket medal below). + It was perfect for her to hold while she was waiting for the ambulance to arrive. The men in orange had 'RETTUNGSDIENST' written on their backs and the kids knew it meant 'emergency service' as they both spoke German! Natalie was battered and brusied on her face, ribs and hips along with the repairs done on her leg - but the rest of our trip, it was obvious that she was indeed still being carried in the palm of the hand of God, soreness, stitches and all! She never complained. (PS - she chose the blue one!) + WHERE IS SHE TODAY? As of 2019 - 6.5 Natalie played WCBB basketball for # 1 UCONN. On graduation she went to GMU for her Masters and still qualified to play and where she ranked #1 in the nation in several NCAA listings. And on a full ride scholarship. She was playing pro basket ball when she was injured - came home and completed her masters program and completed her internship in our government while healing then return to pro ball. |

STRENGTH AND CONFIDENCE We included this scripture passage as it gave us so much encouragement when the events above happened. Tripping over a curb brought her down temporarily - but when she picked herself up, we saw a young lady grow in gift and new confidence, thanks be to God. + PSALM 91 You have the LORD for your refuge; you have made the Most High your stronghold. 10 No evil shall befall you, no affliction come near your tent. 11 For God commands the angels to guard you in all your ways. 12 With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. + 13 You shall tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon. 14 Whoever clings to me I will deliver; whoever knows my name I will set on high. 15 All who call upon me I will answer; I will be with them in distress; I will deliver them and give them honor. 16 With length of days I will satisfy them and show them my saving power. |

Our friend Paula suggested that it would be a wonderful little chaplet for children to pray along with the family rosary. These tough chaplets are perfect for little hands as they are made up of 10mm beads. And 10 beads are just about all most little ones can handle without getting losing interest. We found out that when they would ask for prayers for themselves or friends, they became much more interested. We kept a list in front of us while we prayed and checked them off as they were answered so they could see the power of their prayer! |

We believe the RosaryWorkshop.com is being directed to make our rosaries a more visual and symbolic journey of the dedication than it has in the past. You will not only see more of this direction used through color choices but in texture. When you see them, we hope you will be more visually in touch with the story. Not only with Our Lady as she tells the story of her beloved son, but with the one to whom the rosary is dedicated or the scripture passage that inspired it.
