This 33 bead chaplet configuration (one bead for each traditional year of Christ's' earthly life) is promoted by the Sacred Heart Society (1980) according to 'A Handbook of Catholic Sacramentals' by Ann Ball (pg. 177).It is in response to JPIIs request in his 1979 encyclical, REDEEMER OF MAN - in preparation of the coming of the new millennium. +
