+ LATE 19c FILIGREE This filigree rosary is probably a commercial chain rosary from the late 19th early 20th century. They are still to be found in antique stores along with the old filigrees. It's designer was most likely inspired by the beautiful old 16th to 19th century filigree rosaries from Bavaria and Austria. for more information

*CONFIGURATION* A traditional 5 decade rosary with two extra paters in loop next to crown - only 3 beads in pendant, probably repaired or reconstructed by person unaware of traditional configuration (rosary: 18 in)

*CRUCIFIX*
BEAUTIFUL CRUCIFIX A brass corpus is mounted on filigree tubing that has been capped with ornamental endings (cross: 2.5 in) |
*BEADS*
Delicate 6mm filigree beads in silver are separated by flat oval filigree spacers. Ave and Patear beads are the same size. |
*ROSARY CENTER*
A dimensional crown sits over the traditional and ornate initial 'M' for Mary. Design is found in many places including the back of a chair in theVatican (1 in long) |
