He was a man who loved children and loved working with the impaired. When our children were little, they called him 'Fadda'. That was when he was our chaplain, a Lt Cdr in the Navy, serving as the Catholic Chaplain at the USN Post Graduate School in Monterey CA. He taught us that being a good Catholic did not include the smorgasborg table of choice. + FINE RELIGOUS ART GIVE GLORY TO THE LORD We loved him and his outrageous sense of humor. As Bishop of NY, John Cardinal O'Conner served the Lord he loved well. He was a strong supporter of the unborn and asked only to be remembered as a 'good priest'. This rosary is a small token of love to 'Fadda', who believed fine religious art gave visual honor to God. He brought his mom to dinner to our house one night. (Beads are crystal with amethyst inclusions). PATER BEADS: Pater beads are faceted Swarovski Crystal, capped in antiqued filigrees. (may appear more golden on some monitors, they are clear when held in hand. (Color: "Shadow") Center is a filigreed 'A' 'M' (Ave Maria).
