+ HAVE WE FORGOTTEN-- TO PRAY? One has to wonder if, with the rising peril of tornados, flooding, damage if we as a people have forgotten to pray our rosary for protection. If this is the case, simply pull your rosary out of its hiding place and start praying - not only for you and your loved ones but for those in the path of weather realated natural disasters and those who still suffer! + OUR INTERCESSORS THE COMMUNION OF SAINTS We forget we have an army of intercessors in the communion of saints and of our Lady who will intercede for us to her Son, Jesus if we ask. This series is dedicated to the many ways she has protected us in the past and will in the future if we remember to pray for protection, especially through your rosary. OUR LADY OF THE STORM In our searching, we are unable to find a patroness that covered tornados and other air related natural disasters such as windstorms, blizzards, floods and no rain. So we turn to OUR LADY of the ROSARY also known as OUR LADY OF REFUGE and OUR LADY of HEAVEN, OUR LADY of the STORM for protection as we should in all natural disasters and dangers. + MARK 4:38 He woke up, rebuked the wind,

+ AVE BEADS: Rare, antique handmade beads from Czechoslovakia (1890-1930) in the soft, calming coral color of the sky especially after a storm. Sometimes it bathes us with is peace, covering everything in sight with a warm, comforting glow. PATER BEADS: The hand cut, translucent yellow Citrine stones were chosen to remind us of the sun. antiqued filigrees inspired by God's Old Ttestament instructions to set the stones in filigree. (Ancients believed citrine stones (a type of quartz) brought calmness and clarity, protecting them from negativity) + HAND CUT CITRINE
+ NOTE THE PENDANT MEDAL BELOW Paters are capped with antiqued filigrees, reminding us of the early filigree rosaries made during the same time period as the Ave beads. Note the pendant medal of Our Lady holding her son, Jesus and surrounded by the rosary and the five mysteries. It is 9 x 6 feet and hangs in the Chapel of St. Maria im Weingarten Chapel (Volkach am Main.), Germany. This remarkable medal, available in sterling and solid bronze is 2 in without the bail. Ave beads are 10mm making this a large rosary at 26 inches. PATER BEADS: Pure faceted crystal from Swarovski (Austria), each capped with antiqued filigrees. + SWAROVSKI FACETED CRYSTALS
