WHY WOULD SHE ASK FOR A TEMPLE? Why would she ask for 'a temple be built to me'. Several reasons. First, to house the tabernacle containing her son, Jesus. Reminiscent of when she carried her son in her womb, remembering she is pregnant in the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. and in a temple (basilica) she protects her little ones.
