+ WHAT IS RHYOLITE? Rhyolite is an Igneous Rock forged by fire - cooled from a molten state (as hot as 2192°F). It comes from volcanic action. It appears to be tiny drop of foamy sea water, frozen in time. Each one a little different from the next in its visual texture highlighted by a faceted surface. You may find some with transparent areas but they are mostly opaque. Sometimes bits of creamy white, sometimes coral, but mostly sea green. A beautiful creature of God, certainly worthy of the glory of Jerusalem. + RARE AND HARD TO FIND This is a very hard stone to find! We sold out of our first 3 editions in this series quickly and have tried for several years to reorder from our old source but they have been unavailable. Just recently we were fortunate to find them again. There are 5 loops on each of the fingers that give honor to the 5 wounds of Christ allowing the royal heavens of the king to show through. + AVAILABLE CRUCIFIX & CENTER The crucifix and center are handcast from antiqued pieces and available alone in the SUPPLIES section. Chaplets are great for people on the move, in the pocket or purse for quick prayers on a busy day. |
