I have put my words in your mouth and shielded you in the shadow of my hand, + TURQUOISE WITH CHRYSOLITE / OR / SERPENTINE CHRYSOLITE, also known as SERPENTINE, (state stone of California.) is believed to be the ancient source of the first signs of organic life by Stanford research scientists. (see). Ancients believed this stone healed the earth. + ISAIAH 51:15-16
WE LIVED ON SERPENTINE When we lived in San Francisco we lived on this rock. The earthquake of 1906 did not touch the sections of the city built on this rock that ran from the oceanside Presidio to Hunters Point on the bay. This included the US Mint that remained untouched. This stone ia very popular with jewelers. for moe information see ROSARY - MORE INFORMATION CART - MORE LINKS (use back button to return to this page) |

+ FORMED OVER MILLIONS OF YEARS Turquoise is formed, over a span of millions of years and occurs by chemical reaction when water leaks through rocks which contain specific minerals such as aluminum and copper. The gems are mostly mixed together with black, dark gray or brown veins of other minerals or of the hosting rock (like opal or chalcedony). Those stones are called Turquoise matrix. Other minerals like chrysocolla have been used to imitate turquoise. + A RARE COMBINATION OF STONE These magnificent Paters are rare. we have never seen anything quite like them and had to buy all the vender had. The combination of the host turquoise with a matrix of Opal is truly beautiful when hand faceted and polished. No two are alike, making each like a 'one of a kind' work of art. + Turquoise is found and formed in several ways: vein turquoise is deposited in cracks in rocks, also formed as nuggets. It may be found in cavities lined with quartz crystals. Turquoise is generally found in arid climates such as the American Southwest. |
I just had to let you know ... although your pictures are very good, they in no way do this elegant rosary justice. Everytime I look at it, I notice something different. I feel like a member of royalty. It will definitely be an heirloom. Thank you for all your assistance in helpling me with my selection. (Rita E. USA) |
