Some appear to have been made of natural materials found along the way. We think of Fr Serra and Fr Kino who helped settle the Southwest and California coast, we can imagine they did not come heavily laden with rosaries to replace their own losses and may have replaced a rosary using seeds, shells, pebbles or wood. This collection of our Franciscan Inspired rosaries (RSDA) tries to imitate what natural materials may have been used along the way. + PSALM 99: 5 - 9

+ AVE BEADS: we chose the 8mm graywood for the Aves as they gave the Paters a peaceful background PATER BEADS: These rare and beautiful yellow quartz crystals are a wonderful find. they are in their natural state and no two are alike. A great gathering for prayer as we marvel over each one as the word of God himself. + CHILDHOOD MEMORIES A wonderful reminder of my childhood when we would hike in the hills behind our house in Panandle of Texas along the Canadian River - and I would find naturally formed crystals growing out of rocks along the way. I am sure they are long since gone and in the hnds of collectors! + ALL MEDALS AVAILABLE INDIVIDUALLY We added the Galway crucifix with no center to give this rosary a traditional "All i ne loop' for easier prayer.
