(click icons for larger images) (for more information on rosaries, scroll down) + WATER OF THE GARDEN  VI RSDA:  SEEDS OF ASSISI SERIES  10 A river rises in Eden to water the garden; beyond there it divides and becomes four branches. + GENESIS 2:8-10  8 Then the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and he placed there the man whom he had formed. 9 Out of the ground the LORD God made various trees grow that were delightful to look at and good for food, with the tree of life in the middle of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and bad. 10 A river rises in Eden to water the garden; beyond there it divides and becomes four branches.  + OUT OF THE BLUE, COMES A ROSE!  ... Roses, nourished by the water of the garden of Eden. How many times have we asked for a rose from Therese of Lisieux, the 'Little Flower', one of the roses that she said she would send down to earth from heaven after her death? And, out of the blue, a rose comes into our life!  It brings a special smile of gratitude to know that heaven is not all that far away! + A POWERFUL MIX OF JASPER AND LAVA SEEM TO TALK TO THE EARTH WHERE THE FLOWERS GROW + SHE CARRIES  A CRUCIFIX FOR US This rosary bears a cross of roses and in the center of it, Theresa carries the crucifix in her arms for us. The brown Lava Paters symbolize the Carmelites who wear brown since they are to be reminded of the cross of Christ.  Brown, the color of the humble earth out of which the red roses grow. Pater beads symbolizing the earth out of which the flowers will grow.  And the image of Theresa carrying the crucifix is seen in the middle of the cross of roses.
