So we have used Paters that have been hand chiseled from Carnelian and Amethyst rocks, creating a beautiful prayer bead in its rough reminder of how life can be. Aves are a rough lava stone in matte black. The matte black reminded us of the priesthood and of the calling of Peter and all those who followed him in the laying on of hands. + AVE BEADS: Rough and tough, these textured matte black ave beads (9mm) of lava are shown with PATER BEADS: hand chiseled or rough cut chunks of Amethyst for Pater beads to remind us too, of the rocks in our own road of life. + "ALL IN ONE LOOP" 17c Spanish cross (or earlier). This is an all in one loop rosary, an ancient tradition, and will not tangle easily. Inspired by the early monks who used pebbles to count their prayers. + ALL MEDALS MAY BE PURCHASED INDIVIDUALLY All crosses, crucifixes and religious medals may be purchased individually.
