The rosary categories below represent our first collections started in 1996 - but we have grown so much since then. Note the numbers: A 2 represents it is a rosary. the nest two numbers represent the year they were renewed (some still carry original numbers as some beads are replaceable). The last two numbers represent the actual number of the rosary in that category. If you see a 'V' or "IV' after each rosary giving you an idea of how many series were sold under each one. +
HOW WE IDENTIFY EACH ROSARY All rosaries begin with the number 2. Tthe next number[s] now indetify the year of the new design. The last two numbers identiful the rosary. We make about 12 in each series (unless it says one of a kind) and when gone we re-number the series under that same name. Gives you an idea of how many the guild has made over the years in that series. |

In our life there are spedcial days never to be forgotten! Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddingsl First Holy Communion, Confirmation. Father Joseph encouraged having a rosary dedicated to that specail event or day, never to be forgotten. +
KEEP THE ROSARY FOR PRAYER Father Joseph also suggested to keep the rosary after a funeral of a love done, not to bury it with them. Even thought it is traditional to do so, how much better to keep the rosary and pray for that loved one on whose prayers have been said for years - and - when the time comes, pass the rosary along to the next one for Prayer. It has a history! |

GLASS BEAD ARTISTS IN AMERICA Below we have some examples of these gifted glass bead artists who make one bead at a time using the lampwork method. Karen Lewis of California has taken the 'New Clay' world by storm and gives us beautiful examples of her work. +
Note too the exquisite work of Basha from Oregon. Basha has developed a rare glass bead that appears to be from an ancient archival dig, thousand year old glass with a rich patina. |

FRANCISCAN CROWN A wonderful rosary that has been around since the 15th century. This 7 x 7 decade rosary has many prayers and devotions. Known as the Franciscan Crown, Seraphic Rosary and the 7 Joys of Mary, we have been inspired to design a rosary for each of these titles although the traditional count and prayer is the same on all three, 7 sets of 10. Crown of thorns from Jerusalem. Wonderful around a candle or to hang on your crucifix. Very limited and will not reorder. +
ABOUT THE PLANT The botanical name for the Crown of Thorns is Euphorbia Milli. This thick steamed plant grows in the desert of Jericho and by the Dead Sea, 30 Miles from Jerusalem. This Beautiful ornamental plant which has dense thorns is said to have been used by Roman Legionaries to crown the head of Jesus. When in bloom, it has beautiful flowers that all but hide the thorns and is found in many colors. |

If you do not tithe, we would encourage you to pray about it. We are all called to give our first fruits (10%) to the Lord. When we do, we are aligned with his precepts and his commandments. And in this, we receive the overwhelming abundance of God's blessings and his Endless Treasury of Love. We cannot out do him! He is always faithful. He is always giving. We only need to listen and be obedient to his word - to receive his endless gift of love. The Rosary Workshop tithes to:
